Early Childhood Development Graduates

Congratulations to the graduates of the Early Childhood Development Education program 2017-18!

In May sixteen students graduated from the Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE) program on the Storrs campus and eight students from the Stamford campus. Students completed either the ECD concentration or the ECDE concentration. Those students graduating with the ECDE concentration completed the requirements to receive the State of Connecticut Early Childhood Teaching Credential. UConn continues to graduate some of the most highly sought after graduates entering the field. On hundred percent of the graduates had secured either employment opportunities, or been accepted to graduate programs. This is a diverse group of students who are going on to fields ranging from teaching in an early care and education program to nursing, social work, speech/language pathology, physical therapy, and advanced research positions. The Early Childhood faculty applauds the success of our students!
